The Optime Customer API is a REST API to retrieve OPTIME data stored in the cloud. By calling standard REST methods, users can get KPIs, raw data, metadata, information about all the resources, and alarms relevant for their application. This enables our customers to integrate the optime data and insights into their ecosystem.
Thanks to successful integrations with their monitoring solutions, Service Providers and Resellers can serve their customers better and ensure less downtime. Integration with the REST API allows them to extend their portfolio with maintenance and diagnostics services.
The Optime REST API has also successfully been integrated with the internal monitoring solutions of big industry 4.0 players with dedicated diagnostics and maintenance departments.
The API design follows the best practices regarding security, ensured by the Schaeffler API Portal and usability. The response object is a convenient standard JSON object.
